Scythe & Spade Welcomes Scout Mauch as GIS Analyst

 
 

Scythe & Spade continues to build its GIS mapping and analytical capabilities with the addition of Scout Mauch as GIS Analyst.

Scout is a GIS specialist with 6 years of experience working in large scale agricultural and national intelligence projects. She graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS with a Bachelors of Applied Science in Geospatial Analysis and Intelligence.

She is an Arkansas Delta native and grew up in a farming family. An abundance of her experience comes from her time at Delta State working in the GIT Center where she took lead in various types of projects including the mapping of agricultural wells in the Mississippi Delta for the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality funded by USGS.

She has also finished MTM50 and JOG topographic maps for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) by editing, symbolizing, and refining layers of data used by the military for safety of navigation, planning, and reference purposes.

Scout has a love for the Delta region and agricultural industry. She currently resides in Cleveland, MS. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, going on runs with her dog, Bodhi, spending time on the Mississippi River, traveling, and enjoying all that the Delta has to offer.Scout is a GIS specialist with 6 years of experience.
